Please Don't Judas Me!

I didn't watch the National Geographic documentary about the "Gospel of Judas" last night. I haven't read anything about it until today. I have heard all the hype over the last week or so.

When the New York Times does a piece on things Christian, one has to approach the message with REAL skepticism. The New York Times does not stand for truth. They don't stand for morality...fairness..tolerance!

The National Geographic Society? They have perpetuated the myth of evolution and worship flawed "science"!

I've only recently started to pay attention to the words of "Father" Jonathan Morris. I came across a wonderful article he wrote on the immigration issue last week. Today I found this article about the "Gospel of Judas". This guy is worth paying attention to and I intend to seek his columns out to read from now on.

These times we live in are the times that those of us who became Christians as kids remember the preachers talking about--The end-times when Christians would face great persecution from un-believers.

Judas was to Christ what the left is to America today. He went along for the ride and when the opportunity arose he selfishly attempted to destroy his righteous master. America and Christ are gathered in our own Garden of Gethsemane. What is the left up to during it's absence from our nation's present reality?

Comments:
"America and Christ are gathered in our own Garden of Gethsemane. What is the left up to during it's absence from our nation's present reality?"

A beautiful analogy wrapped in rhetoric, sir. No need to answer that question, eh?

There is a flaw in there though. It assumes the Left is pretending to be fellow travelers. The difference between Judas and the Left is: the other 11 apostles believed Judas was one of them. Any right thinking conservative knows full well the Left is not out friend.

Beautiful analogy, though. I just may have to borrow it.

Yeah, what could be more beautiful than calling fellow Americans traitors?

If the shoe fits......

Go read Richard Dawkin's "The Ancestor's Tale" if you want to know something about God. This bible thing is a waste of time.

Go read the Bible if you want to seek truth. This man-worship thing is a complete waste of time!

LiberalLoather!?! Oh, yeah. That's what Jesus taught, alright. "Loathe thy neighbor as thy self".

If the shoe fits...... 'Can't help but feel God's love in that comment, can 'ya? I guess it's only important to read The Bible. Learning from it, emulating it's message, and trying to "Judge not, lest ye be judged.", is strictly optional and a matter of personal preference.

But the Judas = Liberals thing was great, and it really cleared up alot of questions for me. Like, I always wondered what Jesus meant, when he spoke from the cross and said: "Don't let that guy Judas get away with this! I mean it! He's got a serious payback coming to him, and I need you all to see to it that he gets it! If I had known he was gonna do this, I'd have gotten him first! And I expect all of you to do the same! Don't wait for the other guy, get him before he gets you!"

Oh, wait. That wasn't Jesus... that was you.

Whatever.....

It'd pretty obvious from my writing that I loathe the movement rather than those influenced by it.

My goal is to expose liberals, not to hate them.

Someone needs to bring the truth to them. I just have my own style.

By the way, you're "Judas" thing was the thoughts of a complete fool!

You're comments was the works of a complete fools.

"It'd pretty obvious from my writing that I loathe the movement rather than those influenced by it..."

I disagree. But what is pretty obvious is that your blog is not titled Liberal-ism-Loather, and while the content of your writing might vary from day to day, the title pretty much sets the tone. I suppose there is a chance that someone will assume that the title speaks to the fact that, when you "Loathe", you do so fully, and feely. But people like that are going to get it wrong no matter what the title is...

"My goal is to expose liberals, not to hate them..."

C'mon! Your goal is to expose liberals!?! Is ANYBODY having such a hard time spotting liberals, that they need a blog to point them out? Or is it like at the end of a Scooby-Doo episode, do you pull the mask off the liberal that has been frightening the town to reveal, *gasp*, "old Farmer Jenkins"!! Who "would have gotten away with it,too, if ir weren't for that meddling blog..." LOL!!

"Someone needs to bring the truth to them. I just have my own style."

I'm sure I can't imagine what truth that would be, but I'm willing to bet they already know they're liberals...

What makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside is when a liberal comes over here teies to correct me. It tells me that I've hit a chord, somehow.

Liberal Loather seems to be a good choice of name. I'm happy with it. I never expected Liberals to like it. I expect liberals to go all red-in-the-face when they read it. It was my intent. It has been quite successful.

Exposing liberals--someone needs to put a mirror in front of these immoral, America-hating God-rejectors. You know, let them take a good look at themselves.

IWhat caused notice to be taken of this particular post?

Easy! Liberals hate to see truth staring them in the face. The left has been and is currently working hard to sell our nation out!

I love it!

Thanks for leaving your circle-jerk for a while, though. I appreciate your comments.
