Part Alligator? Part Seal? Every Bit a Guess!
The latest "missing link" has been manifested! Shall we all bow to modern "science" now?
Evolution--what a pitiful faith. You can't help but feel sorry for folks who believe its myth!

It's speculative fiction at best. One thing I've often wondered, though...
When carbon dating is done, does the date reflect the age of the material being tested-- as in a fossil --or the age of the dirt and stone infused with the material/fossil? Technically, the stone and particles can be millions of years old while the age of the item itself is lost in the older material.
Fossils don't become stone without other materials infusing themselves into the "host" material, so it stands to reason that any given fossil will contain the atomic structures of many different materials.
Everything I've read leads me to believe carbon dating is seriously flawed anyway.
And you're right... looks a lot like a gatorfish.

The only way that "science" can substantiate their evolution claims id by dreaming up a vast time period. There's no way to disprove them. There's no way for them to prove it!
I've been in a discussion at another site with a guy trying to convince me to read a book by a secular theologian (professor at a state university) who questions the authenticity of the Bible.
What these folks can't understand is that some peole don't trust the work of certain other people.
The whole theory of evolution is flawed and completely based on speculation. Regardless of what Dr. Bigbottom says!

I have yet to hear anyone give convincing proof that man and dinosaurs did not exist contemporaneously...
Why else do we have all these legends of Dragons, Nessies, Big Feets, and such? Because early man remembers seeing these creatures with their own eyes!
I know how crazy that sounds, but that's my statement and I'm stickin' to it.

Hell, ELAshley, some of the animals they have claimed to be extinct for millions of years have mysteriously shown to be alive and well!
Oh, even better! It's a Crock-fish!
What about that woodpecker they found in Arkansas recently? the one that was supposed to be extinct?
And what about that place in Borneo(?) where they found multiple species of animals and plants they didn't even know existed... completely new to us?

I believe the Ivory-billed Woodpecker was actually observed back in the early 20th century. There is great debate about whether the one video-taped was actually the Ivory-billed Woodpecker or the Pileated Woodpecker. (I got a GREAT look at a pileated last weekend from only 30-40 yards in plain view. It was awesome--12-16 inches from crest to tip of tail!)
